"Satan-ta"

Films: Rare Exports-A Christmas Tale (2010)

Alias: Joulupukki, the Yule Goat

Type: Mystical

Location: Tundra/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: Unknown, possibly that of a small building.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: At first glance, this may seem like a film about another killer Santa. And it...is. It just isn't the crazed bearded guy you see on the cover. Nope. It's worse...

History: Long ago in what would become Finland, the Saami people fought against Joulupukki, a massive demon bent on eating their children. After luring it onto a frozen lake, they got it frozen, and took every precaution to make sure it stayed frozen and buried. Then, centuries later, an archeological dig brings out the beast, still frozen after all those years. But a combination of its unearthing and the naughtiness in the place have brought out Santa's Helpers, a bunch of naked bearded men with great strength and a roaring hatred of anything rude. They're out to free their master by any means necessary.

Notable Kills:None. The Helpers do that instead.

Final Fate: Some quick thinking and plenty of explosives destroy Santa forever before he can be freed by the Helpers. And speaking of those Helpers, they are exported across the world to become mall Santas.

Powers/Abilities: None...seen.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-We don't actually see what this version of Santa looks like, but judging by the horns and size, it isn't a pretty sight. His Helpers are also creepy as all Hell. Also, considering everything we know about this Santa, are we sure it wasn't actually the Krampus?

Trivia: -The idea of the Yule Goat is a staple in European folklore, especially where the holidays are concerned. It has had all sorts of meanings, such as being a messenger of Thor, an omen to pranks, or simply a very nice ornament depicting a noble mount of Father Christmas.

-As stated above, this Santa's tendency to whip and boil children alive is almost taken wholesale from the legend of the Krampus, Santa's beleaguered demonic emissary of the punishment naughty children get.
